Why coffee and why angels?
They say that necessity is the mother of invention and that quote is definitely true of artist Linda Finstad. Like most people at the start of the pandemic, Linda found herself experiencing a roller coaster of emotions. These ranged from fear and depression to thoughts of how she could not only survive this tragedy but also how she could continue to thrive as an artist. With no access to art supplies she used what she had – instant coffee and one tube of red paint.
Every day Linda would paint an angel using coffee as her medium. However these were not the slender beings with flowing locks. These angels represented everyday people. Some were sweet others were sassy. Most of them were curvy yet magnificent in their feminine voluptuousness.
People were able to identify with these angels with attitude and they became a best seller. Available as prints, cards and magnets plus they are the stars of two books “Just Not That Kind of Angel” and “Everyday Angels – national day journal” by Linda Finstad the books are available on Amazon.
The everyday angel prints are presented in a black matt and fit an 8×10 frame (frame not included)
