Gallery wrap (12×18”)
An early image (2008) of a trumpeter swan silhouetted by sunset light at Cheam Wetlands. 2008 was the first year that the trumpeters started to gather at the wetlands to over-winter. They leave the wetlands around 8 am and return between 4-5 pm each evening and this time the light was perfect to capture this timeless image of the swan’s grace & beauty in this serene, golden hour image. The swans now tend to not swim too close to the wetlands viewing platform so in all these years, I have yet to get any opportunity to replicate this scene. I have a 24×36” gallery wrap of this hanging in my home & I still love it.
