I’ve been to Steveston and always loved how the sunsets in the area can take a blue sky and produce beautiful orange hues that compliment the deep blues in the ocean. I’ve returned to this area many times waiting for the light to hit the feathers of a bird perfectly. Out of sheer luck I had been cycling along the Dyke that day and noticed this bird approaching me. Camera strapped to my back I was able to capture a few shots.

I’m a Fuji X shooter based out of the Lower Mainland, I graduated form UBC with a Doctorate in Pharmacy, while in school I found myself toying with the idea of purchasing a camera.
I ended up purchasing my first camera in 2019. I’ve only been shooting for a year but my camera is an indispensable part of my kit. Life is full of amazing moments, and I try to document all of them. My photography is heavily influenced by the strong hues, vibrant colours, and light found here in the west coast.
