I often buy flowers. Not just because they are beautiful but to photograph them. With this Gerbera Daisy, I wanted to highlight it’s softness so I used a white back drop. I used natural light through my window with a white board in the background. The daisy’s simplicity is what draws me to it. It’s such a friendly flower and lovely flower.

Generally, gerberas symbolize innocence, purity, cheerfulness and loyal love. While light pink gerberas express admiration and sympathy, dark pink ones are a symbol of gratitude.
