Fox in the Forsythia
I wish to thank Photographer Gillian Merritt for use of her photo to paint this cute little guy in Pastel. Red Fox are present across the entire northern hemisphere as well as Europe and Asia. They have a short life span in the wild. Foxes are mostly nocturnal. They hear low frequency sounds and can hear animals through the snow or ground. They eat rodents’ gophers rabbits and even racoons.
Fox in the Forsythia measures 9″ x 12″ pastel. Matted to 14″ x 17″.
Jocelyn T. Bichard is an internationally known Visual Artist who is based in New Brunswick, Canada. She paints mainly in Watercolor and Pastel.
Recently, she is experimenting with other media and combining the two. Her exhibit on Masks showcased Watercolor with gold leaf. When she was a Registered Nurse art started as a hobby. However, now she puts her all into her endeavors. She has had works for sale in the West Indies, as well as locally. Most importantly, she now has art works in several countries.

Above all, her aim is to share the beauty she sees with others. Meanwhile, she hopes to encourages people to look at the beauty in our world with new eyes!
