Clownfish print is Pastel 10.25″ x 6.75″ Resting in anemone home.
This clownfish is resting still momentarily as the tentacles of the anemone flow around it in the current. Caught by a ray of sunlight, the scene portrays a peaceful moment in the coral reef.
Coloured pencil painting has only recently gained popularity. It’s beauty lies in its ability to provide fine details not easily obtained with other media.
While I worked for 21 years, and again, the art waited. It was when I became ill with chronic migraine headaches that I felt the need to try to bring beauty from pain. I also suffer from PTSD and severe allergies. Painting is a way to channel pain and my mission is to create happy, colourful pictures as a gift to uplift others.
Currently, I am making a studio/gallery and have a business for my art called, Gail’s Art Spa. I have a special interest in meeting other artists who struggle with low energy issues and who are isolated due to illness and/or anxiety.
