Chilliwack River in Winter

Chilliwack River in Winter

The Chilliwack River flows from Chilliwack Lake into the Fraser River. Large runs of salmon pass by this location on their way upstream and the river is a fisherman’s paradise. Water is frequently portrayed in my images as it has a calming and tranquil force. This makes it ideal for home and office wall decor.

Flowing water is easily one of the most relaxing sounds in nature. The mere sight of it draws us to it. It was snowing heavily when I took this photograph. By slowing down the camera shutter speed it allowed me to capture the flowing movement of the water and obscure the snow flakes.

Canvas prints are UV coated with 1 1/2″ thick stretcher bars and gallery image wrap. Hanger included.

Prints are supplied on Epson professional Lustre paper and supplied rolled in a tube ready for framing.
GST and PST are included. Shipping costs vary depending on location.

Photography for me doesn’t always have to be about the literal expression of reality. As an art form, photography can combine many different elements of digital abstraction. Firstly, by layering in elements from separate images. Secondly, blending in subtle or even dramatic digital aspects of traditional art mediums. Finally, it allows me the freedom to experiment with the original scene in ways that are only limited by my imagination. Having a custom printing lab in my studio with a large format printer allows me to further experiment with unique papers and creative printing techniques.

As an Accredited Photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada, I live, eat, breath photography, and Photoshop mastery. My work as a Commercial Photographer also lets me specialize in Architecture, Interiors, Industrial, and Products photography. This allows me access to unique locations where I can photograph landscapes and nature scenes not normally available.

Although all of images are color compatible for viewing online, most computer monitors vary in their color configurations and the images that you see may not have accurate color representation.
