Description
Blue Poplars
Poplar trees are native to Canada and form densely populated forests. With their beautiful white bark and unique markings they make attractive compositions. In my many travels throughout British Columbia and Canada I am always on the lookout for unique groupings of trees.
The original scene already had a nice balance of light, texture, colour, and shapes. However, further enhancing it by using artistic impression to change the yellow fall leaves to blue, and to abstract it further with digital paint brushes, added a home and office decor feel to the image. Hand painted gold accents are randomly painted over top of the printed piece to simulate falling leaves. This adds 3 dimensional highlights when viewed from different angle and lighting conditions.
Canvas Print with 1 1/2″ thick frame. Semi gloss UV coating and gallery quality finishing. Available in 24″ x 48″ and 36″ x 72″ sizes.
