I have happily been making soap and bath products for over 25 years. I have always been a “crafter” hooked on the latest craft idea. I have made quilts and still have a healthy stash of fabric. Crocheting, knitting and card making also fill up my spare time! I just happened to be in Langley, went in to a soap store and found out that they did classes. I was hooked. I took more classes, continue to learn from online research and get inspired by everything around me.
I am a trained elementary teacher and found my way to an administrative career. I retired from the Chilliwack school district after being a principal of a fine arts school for 10 years. Then I really focused on the arts. I am a huge supporter of all things creative and the impact that the arts make in our community.
I believe in healthy natural products especially those that we put on our skin. Making soap fills my creative side, planning recipes, designing and adding colour to each batch. Who knew that there is so much science involved in this art form.
